TENANT RENTAL COSTS
Relevant letting fees and tenant protection information
As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.
Before the tenancy starts (payable to Johnson Birr Limited ‘The Agent’)
Holding Deposit: 1 week’s rent
Deposit: Either the equivalent to one month’s rent or up to 5 weeks rent maximum
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent)
Changes to the tenancy agreement: £30.inc vat for adding or removal of a clause in the contract. £120.00 inc vat for change of sharer.
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above Bank of England’s annual percentage rate.
Charge for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices:
The cost of the key/security device plus £18.00 inc vat.
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy.
You will need to add the cost of tenant’s contents insurance.
Please note part or all of your holding deposit may be retained under certain circumstances eg. Providing false or misleading information, you withdraw or fail
to take reasonable steps to enter in to a tenancy agreement, (further details are in the holding deposit agreement).
